The Zhuge Liang’s Ancestral Temple is located under the Dianjiang Stage area, southeast of Chengdu City, Sichuan province. This ancestral temple was built for the commemoration of Zhuge Liang when he passed Yibin during the Three Kingdom period.

It was built in 967a.d. Even though Guandi Temple is located at the back of Zhuge Liang Ancestral Temple, it is an unattached compound. In the temple are statues of Guanyu, Guanping and Zhoucang. Out of the temple, there are stone drum and stone lion, etc.

In front of Zhuge Liang Ancestral Temple was a huge ink stone, with dragon and phoenix chiseled on it. Reputedly this ink stone was chiseled by Huang Tingjian, and it was also known as “Bimodanqing”.
