The Zhenqing Taoism Temple is located in the junction between Tuodong Road and Baita Road in Kunming City. It was composed of Front Palace, Ziwei Palace and Laojun Palace. It is one of the ancient historical spot in Kunming City. It sits on the north and faces the south. The building was built on the same axis line. The construction was with five entrances and three courtyards concept. The total area occupied is 9,800 square meters. It’s the biggest ancient Taoism group building in Kunming. The Zhenqing Taoism Temple was built in the Yuan Dynasty. It was named Zhenwu Temple because it offered sacrifices to Master Zhenwu.
