Hangzhou China Silk Museum,Zhongguo Sichou Bowuguan

China Silk Museum is situated on the north of Yuhuang Mountain in Hangzhou. The area is about 48,000 square meters. It demonstrated the country’s silk culture and the development achievement of more than 5,000 years. The silk museum is magnificent; the floor space is about 10,000 square meters.

It comprised of the set up of the prologue hall, the historical relics hall, the silkworm raising hall, the silk system hall, the silk-weaving hall, the printing hall and so on exhibition halls, exhibiting thousands of cultural relics, specimen, picture, machines and tools and modern products. It also exhibits the earliest silk tags discovered, silk piece, remnant silk mark, ancient time "on Silk Road" excavated and Chinese brocade and so on.

It will unfold our country silk culture future and the prospect. In the hall, fine silk, craft arts and so on are sold. It is equipped with the mulberry orchard, the dye-house and the silk culture correlation botanical garden sketch.
