Zhengqi Pavilion is located on the east bank of Zixia Lake, in front of the Zixia Cave, situated between Sun Yatsen Mausoleum and Ming Xiao Tomb. The pavilion is the side pavilion, with double-eave roof angles, the top covered with blue glazed tile, the Suzhou granite foundation, and scarlet column, colored drawings on pottery top-beam, resplendent in gold and jade green.
There is a stele carving of “Zhengqi Pavilion Records” on the granite wall in the center of the pavilion. The inscribed text was composed by Sun Ke. Originally, "Zhengqi Pavilion" three characters were written by Chiang Kai-Shek and the written couplets were hung in front of the hall.
