South Mountain Cultural Tourism Zone is located in Sanya, the sole tropical coastal city in China with the land area of 50 sq. km. The whole tourist zone is faced to the open and wide sea and backed with beautiful and magnificent Nanshan Mountain, sited in splendid and graceful natural landscapes. It is established with ratification of natural authorities as a combined multi-sector and multi-layered international culture tourist yard mingling various cultures of Chinese minorities, environment protection campaign, tropical sea sight-seeing spots and Buddhism cultures.
There are some things in the zone which are worthy of seeing. One is a golden Kwan-yin Buddha that is listed in Guinness World Record in the zone, the other is the Dragon ink stone and a 108-meter high Kwan-yin Buddha statue that was built in the south sea. Inside the zone, several major sites are built, such as the Buddhism Cultural Park in which displays the traditional culture of Buddhism, Kwan-yin Cultural Park and the Daoism Park. The major architectures in this park are the Nanshan Temple, the statue of the Mother Buddha and the holy heritages of the Buddha in India etc. It is a super big zone with theme.

South Mountain Cultural Tourism Zone is a place boasted a long history of Buddhism culture and is regarded as a sacred place by the Buddhism society sited in splendid and graceful natural landscapes, it is composed of health and happiness, it was issued to be built as the one Buddhism Temple, and is really a place for relaxation and peace.
