Xishuangbanna Primeval Forest Park,Yuanshi Senlin Gongyuan

Primeval Forest Park, located 8 kilometers from Jinghong city, is a park combining the primeval forest and folk flavor into one entity.
There are altogether 50 scenic sports of ten scenic areas. Among all, the tropical forest is the most attractive. As the best surviving tropical forest in south of tropical area, the tropical forest is abundant in animal such as cranes, peacocks, deer, monkeys, bears, cab rite and so on. If lucky, you can catch a glimpse of mossbacks and hornbills, which are the precious and protected animal of National level.
There are hundreds of peacocks in the Peacock Park. Like beautiful girls dress in colorful clothes, peacocks will spread its tail to display its fine feathers. Tourists may take photos with these beautiful peacocks.
Besides that, many folk festivals and interesting events are held in the park showing the rich fold flavor of Xishuangbanna. For instance, the wedding ceremony of the Hano Ethnic Group, the Water-splashing Festival of the Dai Ethnic Group, the wonderful folk dance and hunting, etc.
