Jin Mountain Temple (Jinshan Si) is located on a mini island in the Center of Wu River near the Hongtang village in west Fuzhou. The island looks like the Golden Hill in Zhenjiang, so it is called “Mini Golden Hill.” About seven or eight hundred years ago, a solid tower of seven storey and eight levels was built on the island.
The tower was made of granite and the height is about 7 meters. Later, palace hall was built around the tower. The Golden Hill Temple was rebuilt in 1934. The exquisite workmanship was reflected on the image reflection in the water and the scenic is unique and interesting.
Until today, you can still find the eight scenic spots of Golden Hill Temple. They include Hongtang Crossing and Ba Mountain Sail and so on. You can get a good view when you overlook the scenery from Golden Hill Temple. Hongtang Bridge, which is the longest highway bridge, is located near the Golden Hill Temple.
