Jilin Donggou Wetland Hunting Ground,Donggou Shidi Shouliechang

Donggou Wetland Hunting Ground is located in Da’an city, Jilin. The area is 500 square kilometers. The hunting ground is rich with aquatic zoology and botany; there is reed on the south, the Sanleng grass, the rush, the pond lily and so on. It has many kinds of fish, shrimps, freshwater mussel and the mollusk.
Amidst the hunting ground, there is 40 square kilometers of plantation and the vast prairie has altogether 36 kinds of animals. There are 46 kinds of birds like the spot mouth duck, the green wing duck and so on. There are also rare and precious protected birds and animals like the swan, hem, and red-crowned crane and so on.
The hunting ground is divided into 9 hunting areas for the tourists according to the aquatic bird, the beasts and the three big categories of prairie bird. The best hunting time is from July to September for about 100 days. Hunted animals like the prairie red cow, the hare and so on could be cooked or made into ornaments.
