Jinan Jinan Zoo,Jinan Dongwuyuan

Jinan Zoo is located in the northern suburbs of Jinan city. It is one of the large scale zoos of the country. It was built and opened in May 1960. The original name is known as Gold Cow Park.

The name was changed to Jinan Zoo on 8 September 1988. Presently, there are more than 260 types of animals amounting to over 2,000 animals.

The zoo was divided into the animal exhibition region, the entertainment amusement area, the popular science knowledge education area, the dining service area and the animal perform square and so on.
