Nanchang Mao Zedong Former Residence in Dajing

Mao Zedong former residence is located in the northwest of Jinggangshang City in Jiangxi and is 7 kilometers away from Ciping. There is highway connecting to the place presently.
During the Jinggangshan revolutionary struggling period, Dajing is one of the important places for the conduction of revolutionary activities by Mao Zedong, Zhu De, other comrades and Red Army. The Former Residence of Mao Zedong is located in the centre of Dajing Village. It was also called the "white house" because the wall was painted in white. It was originally named as "under the new house".
Mao Zedong lived here when he first leads the Red Army first here. Since then, it has become the residence of Mao Zedong in Dajing.
