Ningbo Xundou Mountain,Xuedou Shan

Xuedou Mountain is located northwest of the Xikou town in Fenghua, Zhejiang. The place is surrounded by mountains all around with crisscross paths. The elevation is 800 meters and it has a small peak on the mountain. The water color is milk white, therefore the Dou was called snow sinus, hence the mountain name.

The scenic spots include the Xikou town, Xuedou Mountain and the three parts of Tingxia Lake. There are thousand units of length crags, the Sanyin pool waterfall, the Miaogao platform, the forest sea and some other landscapes. Since thousands of years ago, the mountain temple incense and candle are exuberant with many eminent monks, rich with cultural relics, 5,760 of Confucian classics, jade signet, the imperial robe, the imperial earthen bowl and so on.

The Xuedou temple’s building is grand with towering ancient wood outside the temple. The Tingxia Lake is a large-scale artificial lake. The scenic area is 6 square kilometers, the Hushan landscape too beautiful to behold.
