Qingdao Small Fish Mountain,Xiaoyu Shan

Small fish mountain is located at the inter-section of Yushan Road and Fushan Road in Qingdao, Shandong Province. Its south is near Huiquan Bay and on the north is Baguan Mountain. The elevation is 60 meters and the area occupied is 25,000 square meters. On the mountain, the construction was built according to the advantage and potential of the beautiful scenery, revolving around "the sea" theme and shows prominent "fishery" characteristics. Together with the blending of the pavilion, porch and Chinese style pavilion, it reflects the natural beauty, building beauty and artistic beauty. The main construction on top of the mountain is Guanchao pavilion. The height is 18 meters, with 3 levels and in hexagon shape. It faces the Huilan pavilion of Qianhaijian Bridge. There are two hexagonal pavilions under the pavilion. There is one six sided pavilion named as “Bibo pavilion” because one may overlook the bay with rippling ocean waves when standing inside the pavilion. The hexagonal pavilion is called “Yongcui pavilion”. The bay cannot be seen from here but only see the pine forest. All of the horizontal tablets were inscribed by artistic master Wu Zuoren. On the southeast angle is a three levels open-air teahouse constructed along the mountain for resting and overlooking the neighboring seas.
