Qingdao Gongzhu building

The Gongzhu Building is a Denmark style construction. It is located at No.16, Juyongguan Road in Qingdao of Shandong Province. This small green building is composed by a steep tower with an irregular inclined roof room. There is a platform in its southern part and there is four storey altogether with light blue color. The Qingdao consulate from thirtieth century Denmark designed and constructed this building in preparation for the Danish princess to spend summer vacation in Qingdao. In fact, the Danish princess never came to this place but the name “Gongzhu Building” actually spreaded.
