The Taoist temple was all surrounded by hills, beautiful scenery of water and plants, making the environment serene and secluded. In front of the palace are gingko and several hundred years antique of peony. Taoist priest, Qiu Chuji of Yuan Dynasty lived here where his epigraph still remained. The most famous poem is "Sapphire Document" of which seven lines were the most well-known. Qiu Chuji’s tomb was located within the first half mile of the palace containing clothing without the corpse; its old name was Qiuzufen. In addition, there are two bridges called Yingxian and Chaozhen. It is interesting with the bamboo shades, gentle breeze, water sound and walking pavement. The Shengshui spring flows from the Bie Mountain stone, with sweet and clear. It is one of the famous springs in Mount Laoshan.
