Shennongjia Tianmenya Scenic Spot,Tianmenya

Tianmenya Scenic Spot is located 2km north from the Yanziya Scenic Spot. It is 2,328m above water level. The two peaks are connected and there is a road passing through the middle of the two peaks from north to south. The scenery here is beautiful, especially that after heavy rain. The air here is fresh and cool after rain, with birds singing on the trees or flying in the sky, enjoying the freedom. Streams flow from the peak to the Zizhu River and the area is covered with fog like cloud with the sunshine. If you visit in summer and are lucky, you might get the chance to appreciate the beautiful scenery of a colorful aura appearing on the sea of cloud. The aura looks like a person in the middle if seen from far. The phenomenon was given the name “Buddhist Ray”, and is rare in the world.
