Gaoxiaping Lake is an artificial reservoir. There is a high waterfall in Wushan Lake entrance. The height of the waterfall is 54 meters and the width is over hundred feet. It flows very swiftly, the sound shocking in the valley and it is a magnificent sight. There is a wire rope bridge across the lake. It is dangerous yet interesting crossing the dangling bridge with the bridge floor shaking. In Wushan Lake are green hills and the quiet paths with many birds and beautiful flowers and it is beautiful beyond description.
There are mandarin duck playing with water in the lake, the fish swimming in the water, the bunch of monkeys appearing on the mountain, the antelope running on the mountain and a great amount of ancient trees. It is very interesting to go boating in the lake. There are two hot springs on the left side of the mountain wall when you row boat 3 kilometers towards the lake center. Presently, warm spring pool was constructed where tourists can bathe. According to the tests, the temperature of the ground eye place is 38℃, the water temperature of the gathering place is 36℃ and the water temperature that flows into Wushan Lake is 23℃. The warm water can help to soothe the soreness tourists feel after traveling.
