Shenyang Chessboard Mountain Scenic Area,Qipanshan Fengjingqu

The Chessboard Mountain Scenic Area is located 17 kilometers from Shenyang urban district, Liaoning. The area is 203 square kilometers. The Chessboard Mountain has an elevation of 260 meters. It has a megalith resembling the chessboard under the summit of the mountain, hence the name.
The wooded area is 97 square kilometers and the water area is 7 square kilometers. The mountains are embraced by half virgin forest and as beautiful as a water painting. It is distinct in the four seasons and the scenery is pleasant. The cultural vestige comprised of the Exposed to The Sun Temple, the Gao Ju Li mountain city, the Nantian Gate, the fairy platform, the Dianjiang spot, the mother stone and so on.
The aquatic entertainment activities include the speed boat, aquatic motorcycle, gorgeous dragon boat, hand rowing boat, water warship, aquatic bicycle, mountain slippery grass, mountain tube tackle, and space and time swivel chair and so on.
The Shengyang Chessboard Mountain is the natural skiing field in winter, the lake surface forming a natural big ice-skating rink. The three main activities of watching snow carves, alpine skiing and the snow and ice entertainment infuse one’s body.
