Shenyang Five Girls Mountain,Wunu Shan

Five Girls Mountain is located on the northwest bank of Hun River, 8 kilometers from Huanren city. Five Girls Mountain is cuboids with the prominent peak elevation of 820 meters. The length is 1,500 meters from north to south, the width is 300 meters from east to west and the cliff vertical height is 200 meters.
It was the origin and spreading place of Gaojuli minority civilization. In B.C 37, the Beifuyu prince, Zhu Meng escaped to this place from the palace struggle. He established the first Gaojuli capital on this mountain and was historically named Qishenggu city.
In recent years, the archaeologies have discovered massive ancient vestige and relics on the mountain. The earliest age relic is the New Stone Age earthenware of more than 4,500 years of history. This indicated that as early as in more than 4,500 years ago, there was humanity living on the mountain.
The discovered relics also include the stone sword of the later period of warring state, the stone chisel, the pottery pot as well as some Liao and Jin times lives, the production tool and the weapon. Besides the historical vestige, the natural scenery of Five Girls Mountain is very charming.
