One mountain arose from the flat area of Bijia Mountain where it is steep, with old trees firmament, the Yangtze River, Chishui River and Xishui River flowing through the Mountain. The Bijia Mountain looked exactly like a pen-holder by taking boat by Chishui River. It is surrounded with fluctuated peaks that stood firmly by it. It was known and exposed to people more than 1,000 years ago where Taoism prevails during 581-618 and is referred to as the ancient Leshan.

To date the legend of Master Zhang fanning and painting still circulates. It was renamed to less Min Mountain during the Tang Dynasty. It followed the Bijia Mountain perception, with the shape of a pen-holder and was named as Bijia Mountain during the Qing Dynasty. The Goldwin Buddhist temple on Bijia Mountain was built in 581-618 and maintained 600 years of rare Guzhang in front of the mountain. The temples are located among the large range of Nanzhu Forest and Xiangzhang Forest where the monasteries are well preserved. Huang Tingjian’s inscriptions, the poetry by Marshal Zhu De, the murals of Ming dynasty and the heavy weight Qing Dynasty bronze bell were found in the temple.
