Shijiazhuang Baiyangdian

Baiyangdian is composed of 143 lakes. It is connected by more than 3,700 ditch dikes and has the ancient name of “West Lake of the north”. It has the reputation of “the North China pearl now. Baiyangdian is a typical wetland in the north.
It acquires fame since ancient because of its rich product resources. Baiyangdian scenic areas is divided into six major scenic areas, namely the Mandarin Duck Island Folk Custom Culture scenic area, the Lotus Viewing scenic area, the Ecology and Amusement scenic area, the Leisure and Entertainment scenic area, the Wharf Sightseeing scenic area and the Folk Custom Village sightseeing scenic area.
