Urumqi Golden Beach at Bositeng Lake,Bositenghu Jinshatan

Golden Beach at Bositeng Lake is also known as Bakacichi Sea, where it means “BositengEr” in Mongolian language. In Uigur language, the meaning is “Bage Lashi Kule”.
Golden Beach at Bositeng Lake is the biggest interior fresh water lake in our country. The water level is 1,048 meters and the deepest area of the lake is 992.2 square kilometers. The length of the lake is 62.8 kilometers and the width is 15.8 kilometers. The widest area amounted to 35.2 kilometers. The maximum water depth is 16.5 meters and the average depth is 8.08 meters.
Heshuo golden sand beach traveling area is located on the north side of Yanqi basin. It is the biggest beach on the northeast shore of Golden Beach at Bositeng Lake. It is a well-known scenic area of “five areas and three lines” in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region tourist resources development area.
