Urumqi Dazi Temple Scenic Area,Nanshan Dazimiao Fengjingqu

Dazi Temple Scenic Area is located 70 kilometers south from Shihezi city. It is branch of Tianshan Mountain range. It is rich with Kazakstan nationality characterics and styles.
It is a good destination for vacation. Dazi Temple was originally named Mongolia Temple. It was said that Genghis Khan was charmed by the place while leading several millions cavalries passed by when the Mongolia army crusaded for the west during the Yuan Dynasty and went on an expedition of Gobi desert life.
During then, a Lama along with Khan knelt to present a memorial request and constructed the temple here, guaranteed the army to go on an expedition successfully. Genghis Khan immediately passed the decree to construct the temple. Therefore, an East like temple was constructed and passes down till later generation.
