Urumqi Qinggeda Lake,Qinggeda Hu

The Qinggeda Lake is located 35 kilometers on the south from Urumqi. The back faces Heaven Lake and the scenery is beautiful. It is the famous traveling spot of Wujiaqu city area and is also the Xinjiang production and construction corporation’s first provincial level wild animal protected area.
There are more than 100 types of birds in the Lake District bird area, among which are 70 types of waterfowls. Some rare birds like; the white pelican, the big swan, the Li snipe, the kingfisher and so on frequently appears here. The spring and autumn season is the period when there are most birds and the amount of birds could reach as many as 5 to 6 millions and is a magnificent sight.
