Yao Stream is located within the boundaries of Longwan area of Wenzhou city, Zhejiang Province. It is only 16 kilometers from the urban district center and the total area occupied is 11 square kilometers. It is well known and acquires fame because of the brook stones are all jade color. There are five main scenic spots composed by the blue brook and quiet glen, the flies waterfall and deep pool, the dark green cliff clamps valley, the divided Jin Zhong waterfall, the Yao brook Long, Zhong Xiu garden and Longgang Mountain and the thousand pagodas and there are altogether 100 scenic spots.

The Yao stream is the historical culture scenic spot of Wenzhou. The Longgang Shan ruins have 5,000 years of history to date. The Tang Liguoan temple, the thousand Song pagodas, Ming Xuanzhen View, converged with famous litterateurs since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the multitudinous cliff stele carvings, the cultural relic historical site embellish among the jade makes up the natural sceneries and blended as one together with the culture.
