The famous Santiao Bridge (San Tiao Qiao) is located in the suburban area of Wenzhou, Zhejiang province. It is a corridor bridge. It is nothing special in terms of its architecture, but it is well integrated within its surroundings.
Since it is built over a deep gorge, it is well protected against destructive forces. Legend has it that the Santiao Bridge is probably the oldest corridor bridge in China, said to have been built in the Tang dynasty (618-907 AD) -- making it oldest corridor bridge anywhere in the world.
