Wuhan Daoguan River Scenic Area,Daoguanhe Fengjingqu

Daoguanhe Scenic Area is one of the biggest four key scenic spots in Wuhan of Hubei Province. It is located on the east part of Xinzhou area, Wuhan suburb. The hill is green and the water is clear. The sight is charming and subtle.
There are 72 elegant mountain peaks and a vast artificial lake in the scenic area constituting a beautiful view especially the eastern part of the hill resembling a beautiful sleeping woman between the high hills and the white clouds where her face and chest outline are clear, the curve is exquisite, very moving and life like. It is a known rare natural marvelous sight both domestic and in foreign country. The prominent peak is the General Mountain with an elevation of 675 meters. It is the first peak within the boundaries of Wuhan. On mountain the pine and cypress are green. It is luxuriant and the rare plants are colorful. Presently, it is listed as the national forest park.
