Wutaishan Luohou Temple,Luohou Si

Luohou Temple is located on the east side of Tayuan temple. In 1983, it was listed as the Han Nationality Buddhism nation key temple by the state. Luohou Temple acquires fame from the inseparable relations with the Buddha father’s and son’s fable. Luohou Mian;uo is Shakya’s son in human world. It was said that Buddha Sakyamuni obtained enlightenment and went home. His son, Luohou Mianluo is willing to follow the Buddha path to become monk. It marks the beginning of Buddhism. The name of Luohou Temple means the universal restoration of Buddha. Luohou Temple was founded in the Tang Dynasty and therefore used the god lamp to construct the temple.
It was once named Luo Buddhist temple. It was repaired at the reign of Hongzhi five years in Ming Dynasty (in 1492). The stele inscriptions in the temple had been repaired. It was reconstructed at the reign of Wanli Emperor in Ming Dynasty.
