Shui Lian Cave is the biggest grotto in Mount Wuyi scenic area. It is located north of Zhang Tangjian. It was glide erosion of the softer terrain part formed in the horizontal terrains by water flow over a long period of time; therefore it is different with other limestone caves. The cave is quite spacious and can accommodate thousands of people. There are springs on the top of the cave. The spring forms reaches as high as 80 meters. When the water flow is big the water is like water gushing out from water pipe. When the water flow is small the water is like a white jade belt, flutters with the wind. It was known with the reputation of "the best scenery among the mountains". There are also the “three virtuous ancestral halls”, three churches and the three stone construction ruins named Qinghuidong View and the ancient engravings on many places.
