Guang De Temple was originally known as Yunju Temple. It is located approximately 13 kilometres west of Xiangyang County in Hubei Province.
With an area of about 30,000 square kilometers, the temple was built during the Tang Zhenguan period (627~649) and was named "cloud in the temple."
During Ming Chenghua period (1465~1487), the Lung Zhong was relocated to the present place. Because of Xianzong’s pro-world “Guang De Chan Lin," the name is used till now. There are so many palaces with distinguish style and characteristic here.
