Xining Hoh Xil Lake,Kekexili Hu

Hoh Xil Lake (Kekexili Hu) is located northeast of the Qinghai Zhiduo County, eastern section between the Hoh Xil and the Malan Mountain. It is a half salty water and inner flow lake. There is salt alkaloid peel near the shore. The lake area is 302.2 square kilometers with the water depth of 25 meters.

The lake is named by the mountain’s name. The surface of the lake water is 300 square kilometers. The lake water is of sodium sulfate type. The color of the water is light green. The collection area is 1,125 square kilometers. The shore is filled with sand and plant coverage is low. There are wild plateau animals appearing here. This place is only fit for exploration.
