Luoji Mountain is located at the south corner of Xichang City, China’s space city. It is 37 kilometers away with a total area of over 200 square kilometers. Its main peak is 4,359 meter above sea level and looks like a green spiral shell, the top of which is like the hair coil of young women in ancient time. This is how Luoji Mountain got its name. There are 8 peaks with an elevation of over 4,000 meters around Luoji Mountain. In the mountain, there are the promising passes, wonderful sea and clouds, 72 lakes and ponds, azaleas of thousands of hectares that blossom from April to the mid of Fall and vast primitive fur forest. It is also called the Ancient Glacier park of China.
Luoji Mountain is so magnificent and charming that it is an excellent place where you can visit and explore, paint and sketch, take pictures, conduct scientific investigation and trace history. It is a rare highland with natural scenic spot in the world.
