Yichang Xiling Yangtze River Bridge,Xiling Changjiang Daqiao

Xiling Yangtze River Bridge is a road bridge. It is located 4.5 kilometers downstream of Three Gorges dam axle. It is the first hanging bridge of Yangtze River. It spans across 900 meters of steel box Liang hanging bridge.
It ranked as the first bridge of its kind in the country and ranked seven in the world when it was just completed. The total length of the bridge is 1,118.66 meters and spanning across 900 meters. The overall width is 21 meters with bidirectional of 4 traffic lanes. The ordinary water level is open to navigation with clearance measurement of 30 meters. This bridge began construction in December 1993 and was completed and opened to traffic in August 1996.
