Yichang Xialao Stream,Xialao Xi

Xialao Stream originates from the cypress wood level and the Niu Ping small peak in Yiling area of Yichang. After converging in Lianghekou, it flows into Nanjinguan with “Three Gorges of Yangtze River” as the origin.
The brook’s total length spans 26.7 kilometers and the total area covers 139 square kilometers with the forest duplicate rate above 98%. The Grand Canyon Brook has the most glorious history with unequalled geographical position. It has unusual and profoundest natural resource and is worthy of the name “the first brook of ten thousand miles Yangtze River”.
