Yichang Zhangfei Leigu Platform,Zhangfei Leigu Tai

Zhangfei Leigu Platform is located on the north shore of Xiling Gorge, on the side of south Sanyu Cave summit. Its shape assumes a huge circular pinnacle. In 1984, it was designed by the young sculptors of fine arts institute from Sichuan and the place was constructed into a stone structure of Zhang Fei beating the drum. The statue measures the height of 6.4 meters. The program was completed and officially opened to the public on 28 September 1984. Renowned calligrapher, Mr. Huang Liang inscribed “Zhang Fei beating drum Tower” on the seal cutting of the Taitung jade.
