Yueyang Miluo River,Miluo Jiang

Miluo River is 1.5 kilometers from the Tongting Lake. The pool water is very deep. In ancient times, poet Qu Yuan died in the river. A stone stele noted this story. There remains Qu Yuan ancestral temple, the Sao Altar, Qu Yuan grave groups and so on. People holds grand meetings about dragon boat race at the Miluo River bank every lunar the fifth day of May to commemorate the great poet Qu Yuan.
