Zhangjiajie Bai Zhang Xia

Bai Zhang Xia is composed by three canyons, namely Baizhang canyon, Dong Jiayu and Wang Jiayu. There is originally a small path in Bai Zhang Xia, where the green flagstone was stepped by pedestrians until shining like a smooth mirror. It was proof of the former day’s prosperity. Bai Zhang Xia was also an ancient battlefield.
It was said government once battled several hundred times here after the revolution during the beginning of Ming Dynasty. Therefore, it is also named hundred weapons canyon. The canyon is dangerous with stones located on the right flank. It was the major road of Cili and Yongding intercourse during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among which, the scenery of the field shaping, the canyon wall and the eight pearl pond is uniquely beautiful.
