Zhangjiajie The Yellow Lion Village,Huangshi Zhai

The Yellow Lion Village (Huangshi zhai) is the highest village in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The village is actually a 1,200 meter high plateau. Stone steps lead to the top, a quiet area relatively free of tourists where people can witness the beautiful karst formations of the local crags.

Below, lies Jinbian Creek and the park’s natural, primitive forest. People can enjoy the beauty of the villages natural foliage.
