Zhengzhou Nanwan Lake,Nanwan Hu

Nanwan Lake is located 8 kilometers southwest from Xinyang. It is known as the famous provincial level scenic spot of Henan Province. The width of the lake surface measures 20 kilometers from east to west. The length spans 50 kilometers from north to south.
The water surface area measures 70 square kilometers. Upon ascending the Big Dragon Dike, one can take in an overall broad landscape view of vast smoky wave, with the emerald islands spread all over. On the lake’s upstream is “Xinyang Maojian” producing area of various “five clouds” where it received the honor of the national gold medal.
