Beijing Art Museum of Stone Carving is one of the key national cultural relic preservation units. It was destroyed during the late years of Qing Dynasty. Only the Giant Pagoda in the temple was left. After the 1980’s, the government department built a special museum displaying the carved stone cultural relic of Beijing area on the original site of Five Tower Temple (Zhenjue Temple).
There are nine exhibition halls set up on the east, north and west of the Giant Throne Tower. There are altogether displays of over 500 pieces (block) of carved stone cultural relics. Giant Throne Pagoda is one of the existing six earliest and most beautiful temple models in the country.
