The Meixi Gateways is located at the Chongmeixi village on top of the mountain in front of Zhuhai. The area occupied is 120,000 square meters and the main scenic area includes: the Meixi Gateways square area, Chen Fang former residential area, Chen family garden, memorial park area and traveling service center. The existing Meixi Gateways is left with three blocks. It was constructed in 1886 and in 1891 in commemoration of Chen Fang and her family members’ philanthropic gesture to their hometown villagers by the Emperor. The Torii was constructed with granite; the artistic gateways stone combined both Chinese and Western’s mechanism structure and fine carving decoration. It is valuable artistic stone construction collection. The Meixi temple and the ancestral temple make the "high quality Chinese memorial arch exhibition hall". The Chen Xiru residence produces the "Chen Fang family history shows" and Chen Gong Ancestral temple’s “Zhuhai celebrities wax housel" let tourists appreciate and understand more about Lingnan ancient construction and the history.
