Kashgar Stone City,Shitou Cheng

Located at a place 3,100 meters above sea level, the Stone City is a famous relic of ancient city. It was built in the 7th century and is one of the three stone cities in China (the other two are Nanjing Stone City and Liaoning Stone City). The Stone City is the capital of Kingdom Puli, one of the thirty-six kingdoms in Western China.
It was advised that the best time to visit the city is at dark. During sunset, different colors of lights will be reflected by the stone city. At first, you will think that the whole city is gray and it will gradually turn into red. It is a very charming sight!
