Pancuo City is also known by the name of "Aisikesa" city. It is the castle ruins that Ban Chao, great soldier of Eastern Han Dynasty guarded for 17 years. Ban Chao selected Pancuo City as the base to oppose western Hun and to hold the peace of western region. He restored the central political power to the western region rule and opened the Silk Road.

Presently, Pancuo City was constructed in the original ancient city ruins and occupies a total land area of 14.5 Chinese acres. Ban Chao statue was taken as the center with 36 brave lively warrior statues along the bilateral symmetry. Large scale semi-circle relief screen wall of 36 meters long and 9 meters high, front door, ancient pavilion, stone memorial arch, city wall and beacon tower were constructed.
