Mahemude-kashgar is a famous Uigur scholar and linguist in the 11th century during the Kala Kingdom period. He was born at Kashigeli in 1008. The family background is of royal family and was Bogehan’s descendant of Ka La Kingdom.
The mausoleum was constructed according to the Islam tradition construction form on the 20 meters high hill and occupying an area of over 1,200th square meters. To the north of the grave is the cultural relic exhibition hall before his death. To the east side of the grave is one small mosque where villagers prayed. The mausoleum has various types of flowers and plants all around. The scenery is very exquisite whenever in summer.
