Yinchuan Suyukou Forest Park In Helan Mountain,Helanshan Suyukou Senlin Gongyuan

The Suyukou Forest Park in the eastern part of Mountain Helan, northwest of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of China has recently been upgraded to the state level protected unit by the State of Forestry Administration.
The forest park, less than 50 kilometers from Yinchuan, capital of Ningxia, was built in the early 1990s. There are more than 100, 000 visitors each year, with tourism income reaching one million Yuan (USD 122,000).
Over the past few years, the local government has invested millions of money to improve the ecological environment of the natural park and to develop its tourism resources. The effort has paid off as the number of wild animals in the park has greatly increased. There are over 170 species of wild animals, including 25 species under the state-level protection in the park now.
