Famous Scientists Sculpture Garden (Keji Mingren Diaosuyuan) is located southwest of Yantai economy development area in Shandong Province. It was officially open to the public in 1994.

Thirteen giant statues of great scientists stood separately by chronological order, technical category and generation namely; Zhang, the astronomer of the country during Eastern Han Dynasty; Zu Zhongzi, the great mathematics master of Southern and Northern Dynasties; Jia Si Xie, the agriculturist; Huang Daobo of Yuan Dai textile expert; Li Shi Zhen, the herbs expert of Ming Dynasty; Xu Guangqi, the agronomist as well as Copernicus the Polish astronomer; Darwin of English evolution theory; Newton, the physicist; Edison, the American inventor; Einstein, the physicist; Curie (husband and wife), the Polish physicist so on who makes remarkable contribution to the society.

The land area of 3,288 square meters occupying the east side of the garden is the China Yantai international exchange center. This building assumes the rising circle column structure where the design is unique with fine decoration. There are 6 types of English domestic product for simultaneous translations and pronunciations system.

The academic exchange can accommodate 500 persons for specialized conference. The big technical garden hotel located near the exchange resembles the shape of a hull, with a magnificent exterior and elegant interior. Tourists may visit this place to taste delicacies while visiting the garden.
