Yantai Chengshantou Scenic Area,Chengshantou Jingqu

Chengshantou Scenic Area was established in 1984. It was located in Jiaodong peninsula, the most eastern side of Chengshan Mountain in Rongcheng, hence the name.

Its altitude is 200 meters, the total length from east to west is 1.5 Chinese miles and the width is 5 Chinese miles from north to south. Chengshantou are surrounded by sea on three sides.

The peaks are green and the sea is boundless. It is an ideal tourist destination. Chengshantou is the borders of North and South Yellow Sea. The distance from north-south international main channel is 1.5 miles.

It stood facing Korea across the sea and the direct distance is only 94 sea miles. It is also the most eastern coast of China. It was the first place to see the sunrise in China and was reputed as the "Asia-Sun rise place". It is also known as the "China’s Cape of Good Hope."
