Yantai Zhifo Island,Zhifo Dao

Zhifo Island is situated at the shore of Yellow Sea. The distance is 5 kilometers from the northern part of Yantai City. It is a typical continuous island. Zhifu Island is a bedrock island; magnificent like a long shuttle.
The length from east to west is 9.2 kilometers and the width measures 1.5 kilometers from north to south. The area covers approximately 10 square kilometers. The highest point on the island has an elevation of 294.1 meters. “Chefoo”, is a famous place in the country history. According to historical records, Chin Shihhuang left behind many precious historical data in this place after unifying China in 221 B.C. He also patrolled and ascended the Chefoo three times.
