Yantai Tiandi Square,Tiandi Guangchang

The Tiandi square is located in technical and economy development zone centre of Yantai City. The north is near Yangtze River Road and connected to Pearl River Road in the south. The area occupied is 240,000 square meters and the square was constructed in 1994. It was completed and officially opens to the public in 1998. The square used green as the main theme reflecting prominent natural vegetation as the main body, with embellishment of sculptures, artificial scenery sketches and so on.
The axle divides the square into the north and south views in expression of the world square’s meaning. On the north is the "day" intention "Sun Square", the center used radiated path on the outer in the form of sunlight. On the south is the "earth" theme "the earth square”, the centre encircling the ring-like path in the form of earth. In the square stood the symbol of Chinese Yantai economy development zone area sign, the tablet’s height is 33 meters, in the shape of solid triangle solid. The peak was laid with 5 meters height of round stainless steel emblem. The design was the capital letter "C" central committee inlay "YTETDZ" inscription, i.e. the abbreviation of "Chinese Yantai economy development zone" in English; setting up topic to glitter for the opening of the pearl with date struggle splendor.
