Yantai Xianjingyuan Scenic Area,Xianjing Yuan

Xianjingyuan Scenic Area (Xianjing Yuan) is located on the east of Long Island County of Yantai City, Shandong Province. The scenic area occupied is 2 square kilometers. It was the combination of natural landscape and humanities scenery.

The main humanities landscape in the fairyland includes more than 50 spots such as the city wall, high tower, Xiu pavilion, Yao Chi, fishing Islands, nine natural tunnels, marine amusement park, and Tang King’s group statue and so on.

The main natural landscape includes the sea water bathing place, the pearl sand beach, the sunrise and sunset, the two Bohai Yellow seas, three immortals and strange stones, the culvert mountain spring, the towering mountain ridges cliff and hundred of other spots.

Till the 80’s, the archaeologist unearthed a human cranium fossil of 25,000 years old (belonging to the national treasure cultural relic) and also unearthed nearly hundreds of Eastern Zhou Dynasty grave, including seven tripods with two feudal lords grave.

After which, relics from previous dynasties were unearthed subsequently. Thus, it was said that Long Island and even the Jiaodong peninsula was the origin of man’s first village. This is a good place to admire the sea sceneries, watching sunrise and swimming. On top of that, tourists could visit the developed Eastern Zhou Dynasty seven tripods feudal lords’graves.
