Yanji Tiger Back Mountain,Laohu Bei

Tiger Back Mountain is located between the Jade Column peak and the Ladder Cloud Peak. It is the Tundra mountain ridge that connects Yuehua Forest and Tianchi Pond. It is a place tourists will pass through when ascending the jade column peak from the west slope. The sceneries are different throughout the four seasons. There is a type of “wood sinking in water” growing here. It is called “the iron tree” of the mountain birch.
